THE SPENNYMOOR SETTLEMENT has been in Spennymoor for over 75 years. Originally founded to provide educational and vocational opportunities for the unemployed. It is the only Settlement in the country that has provided continuous dramatic productions year upon year snice its conception.

We invite you to play your part in continuing this long unbroken tradition (Can you handle a paintbrush? Have you sewing skills? Can you provide expertise in maintaining the fabric of the building? Do you want to try your hand at acting? Or assist behind the scenes?)
